Chapter Leaders
Meet the Boston Chapter Leaders
Shelby Marshall
At some point, every business, every person hits a ceiling. Not because the people aren’t capable, but because the team isn’t fully aligned, communication breaks down, and too much falls on too few shoulders. I know this because I’ve been there. Entrepreneurship is hard, and it can be lonelier than most people realize. What started as a dream can start to feel heavy. You’re doing more, carrying more, and wondering why it still feels harder than it should. And underneath it all is a quieter truth: You want to love the work again. You don’t have to stay there. I help leadership teams get out of that cycle and start working together again. As a Professional EOS Implementer®, I help businesses get what they want from their business by bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to how they operate. Using simple, proven tools, we focus on three things: • Vision - 100% alignment on where you’re going • Traction - discipline and accountability to execute • Healthy - a team that trusts each other and solves problems together Because most “business problems” are really people problems, and people can change when they have the right structure and support. Everything I do is rooted in partnership. I don’t sit on the sidelines. I step in with you. We face the hard stuff together, build trust, and create real forward momentum. I bring the mindset of an athlete - competitive, team-first, and willing to do the work it takes to win. And underneath it all, I see people as people, not positions on a chart. Because this is human work. People want to feel heard, respected, and part of something that they believe in and that works. That’s where real change happens. I help businesses run better, grow stronger, and build best-in-class teams that love what they do, and know how to win together. If your team feels stuck, out of sync, or capable of more, you’re probably right. Let’s talk.

I co-founded Talent Retriever with my husband, Dave, on a simple belief: that hiring could be done better, with the urgency and care a great hire actually deserves rather than the speed-at-all-costs approach so common in our industry. What started with the two of us has grown into a team of senior recruiters who partner with our clients as a genuine extension of their own teams. Two decades in, what I've learned is something every EOS leader feels in their bones: nothing matters more than getting the Right People in the Right Seats. That's exactly why ENRG feels like home. Leading our chapter is my way of giving back to a community that lives "help first" and "give more than you get," and I'm here to support fellow entrepreneurs as they build the teams that turn their vision into traction.
