Q: What happens at ENRG Chapter Meetings?

ENRG Chapters meet monthly, same time and same place.We run on EOS® (the Entrepreneurial Operating System), and our meetings are modeled after a format called L10™, short for Level 10 Meeting®. The name says it all: we’re aiming for a 90-minute meeting that’s so productive, focused, and valuable, everyone in the room rates it a 10 out of 10.Here’s how we structure that 90 minutes: Before the meeting: Arrive early to connect with people and check in before the meeting gets started. Check-in: Meeting begins, intros and ice breaker. Content: A 20-minute teaching segment on a relevant tool, framework, or topic, facilitated by a chapter leader or an ENRG Expert Partner. IDS® (Identify, Discuss, Solve): IDS is a simple, structured approach to solving business problems as part of the EOS® system. It’s the core of ENRG chapter meetings – members can raise any issue they’re facing, and the group will work together to identify the root cause, share experiences, and uncover real solutions. Conclusion: We close by asking members to rate the meeting on a scale of 1–10. This helps keep us honest about whether we delivered what we promised. If you can, we highly encourage you to arrive early and stick around after the meeting ends to connect with someone new and build community.

Meet the Vancouver Chapter Leaders

W. Scott Brown

Scott is an global professional services leader with over three and half decades of experience including a recent 11+ year assignment leading a number of related leading organizations in the real estate development space in British Columbia, Canada. Scott’s leverages his core inclination and proven capabilities to engage, facilitate, inspire and promote the growth and development of entrepreneurial leaders and business leadership teams. His clients and colleagues describe him as a person who: easily establishes and grows trust with a growing diverse network of people; is always curious and a great questioner who absorbs new information at high rate and advances to a state of mastery particularly with respect to leadership team, leader development and business growth; and a creative communicator. He draws out impactful stories, and helps to solve complex people and business issues, so that entrepreneurial leaders and business leadership teams can get more of what they want. Throughout his career Scott has lead and coached countless staff and formed and led client and market focussed teams that have set global, regional and local sales records.. He has consistently provided high-quality strategic advisory services and expanded his marketing and sales strategy creation, leadership and culture development, and performance enhancement expertise. After implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) – eosworldwide.com in a number of organizations and referring a significant number of client organizations Scott became more focussed on his EOS practice. Complementary to this work Scott transformed his 10 years of membership with MacKay CEO Forums, a leading Canadian confidential peer learning network for leaders. He currently assist a dozen companies implement EOS and Chairs three groups of 12+ CEOs.

Shannon Johnston

Shannon Johnston is the Co-Founder and Integrator of OpsLab, a North American collective of experienced Fractional Integrators helping entrepreneurial companies turn vision into execution and business results. Her career spans leadership, operations, sales, marketing, and business growth. Today, her work focuses on one of the most important, and frequently misunderstood, roles in a growing business: the #2. Through OpsLab, Shannon works with entrepreneurs, Integrators, and leadership teams to strengthen operational leadership, develop exceptional Integrators, and build businesses that are less dependent on their owners. Known for her Finance First approach, Shannon believes operational excellence is not measured by the number of meetings held, processes documented, or tasks completed. It is measured by results. Her experience with founder-led organizations across manufacturing, logistics, professional services, and other industries gives her a wealth of real-world stories about leadership, growth, people, profit, and the occasionally messy reality of entrepreneurship. Because business is serious enough already. The conversation about running it better does not have to be.

Membership Eligibility

Who can attend ENRG Chapter meetings?

ENRG is intentionally built around four seats, each with an essential role. If you don’t fit one of these four seats, ENRG chapter meetings aren’t the right room for you.

ENTREPRENEURS

ENRG is for entrepreneurs at every stage of the journey – whether you’re a solo operation or running a business of 250 employees, you belong here.

To be clear: If your business is running on EOS, this is the Visionary seat. But if you’d never even heard of EOS until five minutes ago, that’s great, too! If your role sits at the top of the org chart and you’re ready to get unstuck, you belong here. Period.

2ND-IN-COMMAND LEADERS

If you’re an Integrator – the person who takes the Entrepreneur’s vision and turns it into an organization that actually runs day to day — you belong here.

To be clear: If your company isn’t running on EOS, your title might be COO, President, or something else entirely, but the rule is the same: you sit directly below the top seat, and the leadership team reports to you. Fractional Integrators are welcome too.

EOS IMPLEMENTERS®

As a licensed EOS Implementer, your experience guiding small-to-medium businesses through EOS® implementation gives you pattern recognition no single business can build on its own. At ENRG, that experience isn’t just for teaching EOS®. It’s for guiding Entrepreneurs and their 2nd-in-Command Leaders toward what they actually need, wherever they are in the journey.

To be clear: Every ENRG chapter is co-led by an EOS Implementer, but you don’t have to be a chapter leader to join. All licensed EOS Implementers can (and should!) be part of a local ENRG chapter.

ENRG™ EXPERT PARTNERS

If you’re part of an organization that’s gone through ENRG’s rigorous values-fit process and been approved as a paid partner, you’re encouraged to attend ENRG chapter meetings and bring your perspective and expertise to the room.

To be clear: Chapter meetings are not open to subject matter experts who don’t have a formal partnership with ENRG. Why is it called ENRG (and how do you pronounce that?)

ENRG stands for “Entrepreneurial Networking Resource Group.” It’s pronounced “energy” because that’s exactly what it’s meant to create. Every chapter meeting, connection, and conversation is designed to leave members more energized to go run their business than when they walked in.
